MDA Muscle Walk - We need your help!

Family & Friends,

As many of you know, our son Steve III has Congenital Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. Myotonic Dystrophy is one of the most variable and complicated disorders known and affects about 1 in 8,000 people. Approximately 1 in 20,000 babies are affected from birth with the Congenital form.

We're proud to tell you that we are participating for the third time in the MDA Muscle Walk on Saturday January 29th, 2011 at Ford Field in Detroit. This is going to be a fun, meaningful way to help the MDA in the fight against neuromuscular disease. Funds raised through MDA special events help provide expert medical care at MDA clinics, MDA summer camps for youngsters, and many more services.  MDA also funds hundreds of top scientists worldwide doing groundbreaking research, seeking treatments and cures. We need your help to find a cure!
We'd like you to join us as a member of our team to help raise funds and come to Ford Field to do the walk together -- we promise we'll have a great time and make a difference! To join our team, please visit: and follow the link at the bottom of that page. When you register, please identify that your are Muscle Walking for Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy.

If you can't join our team and walk with us, please click here to make a secure, online donation. 100% of all donations made to our team will be directly used to help find a cure for Myotonic Dystrophy. All donations are tax deductible.

Thanks in advance for your continued help in this fight. Don't hesitate to call or email us with any questions.

Last year our team raised $2150 with the help of many of you. We're hoping to raise even more this year! Together we'll make a difference and accomplish our goal of raising at least one more dollar than last year!

Steven & Hamsa Kiryakoza

P.S.  We're counting on you, please make a donation or join our team at
